Chore Corps

There’s a new ministry at St. Philip’s – the Chore Corps!

The mission of the Chore Corps’ is to match volunteers with St. Philip’s members (and possibly others) who need help with simple chores they are unable to do themselves.

The chores could include:

  • Yardwork

  • Washing windows

  • Installing storm windows

  • Minor household repairs

  • Changing lightbulbs

  • Installing smoke detectors and batteries

  • And more!

Need help?

If you, or someone you know needs help with chores, please reach out to us…

  • You can send an email with your name and phone number to [chorecorps@splcmn.org].
  • You can call 612-552-1265. (This is a Google Voice number so follow the prompts, as needed, to get connected)

Want to help?

If you’d like to become a Chore Corps volunteer, please fill out the form by clicking the button below.

The form is really simple and should only take a couple minutes to complete. Please click on the “FILL OUT FORM” button below. Fill it out as best as you can at this point. We realize things change – your responses won’t be set in stone. You can always say “No” to a project you are invited to help out with.

(Note – after filling out the form you will be given an option to fill out another one – for your spouse or other family member. We’d love to have more volunteers in the pool.)

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Chore Corps volunteer!

In order to make coordinating projects easier, knowing your preferences and availability will be a big help to us so we created a Google Form for that. We’ll use the information submitted on this form to help decide who to ask to help on a project. This should keep down the number of requests you receive.
