Just as Christ welcomed the little children, we too are happy to have little ones as a part of our church family! Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in the worship service. We believe that children are an integral part of our church community and that worship is important to the faith formation of every child.
Due to COVID, our activity bags containing age appropriate quiet toys and activities are not available. We encourage families with young children to bring their own quiet activities from home if they wish.
Prior to the Sermon for the day, we invite all ages to enjoy a short message from our Children, Youth & Family Ministries Director, Connie Yerigan. The message is intended for children, but adults are sure to enjoy it too!
Our Nursery is located near the Fellowship Hall. Due to COVID, our nursery is not open. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however please know that we welcome all children to worship with us in the Sanctuary.
The Pray Ground allows families with young children to worship together. An area with small tables and chairs is located near the front of the Sanctuary where children will find quiet toys, coloring sheets, and books to read. Children are encouraged to play quietly so as not to distract others from their worship experience and parents are encouraged to set in the pews nearby.
Due to COVID, our Pray Ground items have been removed from the Sanctuary.
S.P.A.R.K of Faith, which stands for St. Philip’s Amazing Rejoicing Kids of Faith is designed for children ages 3 years through Grade 5.
Due to COVID, programming will look and work a bit differently this year. With a mix of pre-recorded lessons and instructions for parents/guardians to work on as a family, this year is sure to be amazing!
Youth Time programming is offered for youth Grade 6 through Grade 12.

Youth in our Middle School Ministry program will have Confirmation lessons and activities, as well as be asked to complete sermon notes.
Youth in our High School Ministry program will have weekly check-in time, with Connie Yerigan, Director of Children, Youth & Family Ministries, to talk about growing and sustaining our faith in our daily lives.
