Families with Children

Just as Christ welcomed the little children, we too are happy to have little ones as a part of our church family! Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate in the worship service. We believe that children are an integral part of our church community and that worship is important to the faith formation of every child.

Busy Bags

Activity bags containing age appropriate quiet toys and activities are hanging on the stands near the doors at the back of the sanctuary. We encourage families with young children take a bag when they enter. A sign on each stand has more information on the bags.

Children’s Sermon

Part way through the worship service, the children will be invited to come forward for the Children’s Sermon. Parents are welcome to come along if their child is hesitant.

Following the Children’s Sermon at the 9 am worship service, children will follow Miss Connie to their Sunday school classes.

Following the Children’s Sermon at the 10:30 am worship service, children will follow Miss Connie to Room 3 for Kid’s Time, and return after the Pastor’s sermon.

Nursery Care on Sunday Morning

Our Nursery is located near the Fellowship Hall. We welcome families to feel free to use the nursery during worship. Currently our nursery is open during worship but is not staffed.

Pray Ground

The Pray Ground allows families with young children to worship together. An area with small tables and chairs is located near the front of the Sanctuary where children will find quiet toys, coloring sheets, and books to read. Children are encouraged to play quietly so as not to distract others from their worship experience and parents are encouraged to set in the pews nearby.
