Katie Buettner

Katie Buettner has served as St. Philip’s Business Manager for 13 years. Her journey at St. Philip’s began as a part-time custodian, and over the years she has taken on new opportunities and responsibilities, eventually stepping into her current role. Katie enjoys the variety her work brings, along with the many challenges and opportunities to serve the congregation in different ways.

Katie is the proud mother of three adult children and enjoys spending time with family and friends. When she’s not at church, you’ll often find her on the golf course, sewing or quilting, curled up with a good book, or planning her next cruise adventure. She appreciates the many friendships she has built through the years and the sense of community that surrounds her.

One of the things Katie loves most about St. Philip’s is that it feels like an extended family. Her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32, reflects the kindness and compassion she strives to share with others: “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” A fun fact about Katie is that she is blind in her right eye. And if you stop by her office, there’s a good chance you’ll find her enjoying a cup of hazelnut orange tea.
